Infinax 3.1: What to expect

We have been listening to you and the wait is almost over. Infinax 3.1 is due for general release on 31 March 2009. Selected customers are currently using the beta release.

This release focuses on improving the user's experience while working with the system. Infinax now allows users to set their preferences thereby raising productivity and reducing keying-in errors.

Other enhancements include:

• Improved Excel® layout when exporting

• Colour-coded flags for trade status: Verification, Authorisation and Confirmation

• Online query of transaction logs and change history

• Extended and sortable online listings

• Extended MTM Reports for FX and NDF

• Forecasting worksheets

Infinax is now OnDemand^TM

CS Lucas has joined the IBM Software as a Service (SaaS) Specialty to deliver cloud services to their clients. This means that Infinax is available under SaaS where users can gain immediate access and use of the application online.

"SaaS is one of the fastest growing segments of the IT industry because it provides companies of all sizes with access to innovative solutions delivered remotely via a subscription model" said Dave Mitchell, director of strategy, IBM Developer Relations. "CS Lucas' commitment to SaaS can provide its customers with a powerful way to reduce implementation costs while rapidly deploying business applications," he added.

CS Lucas will be co-marketing Infinax SaaS with financial institutions and hosting partners to deliver Infinax SaaS.

COLLIBRARY^TM

CS Lucas has launched a new website named COLLIBRARY^TM (a play on the terms Collaboration and Library) for its customers.

This site will serve as a repository for the following;

• Infinax User/Feature Guides

• Tutorials and feature usage guides

• FAQs

• Technical documents (e.g. pricing model, accounting treatment)

• News articles

For the general public, a selected collection of documents & feature guides are available via registered access.

New appointment

CS Lucas is pleased to welcome Mr. Tan Yeow Sin who has just joined us as an Application Specialist. Yeow Sin, CFA, FRM began his career in a bank dealing room and has moved into positions within the areas of risk management and corporate treasury.

Yeow Sin is no stranger to Infinax. He has used Infinax on a day-to-day basis to manage the currency risk exposure of a global conglomerate which has its global treasurt function based in Singapore.

"We are very pleased to have Yeow Sin join our team of consultants," said Mr. Tan Chee Seong, Director of CS Lucas. "With his background and experience, he knows the issues our clients face and can help them leverage on Infinax to improve productivity and monitor risk compliance."
